Post Views: 298 This meditation can be helpful when you are needing to heal deeperemotional wounds and family patterns that keep you locked in unhealthycycles and habits. You can use this meditation as often as you need to, and itis recommended daily for at least two weeks to help you resolve deeperemotional issues in your life.1. Begin your meditation in a lying down position. Use whateverpillows or bolsters you need to support your low back and hips.2. Bring your attention to your breathing and offer thanks to yourhealing with the Reiki principles with a simple gassho. 3. Ask for Reiki and Universal life-force energy to guide you onyour healing path.4. Ask for guidance and assistance from your spirit guides and anyother Masters of healing in the Universe.5. Close your eyes and release any tension in your body as youinhale and exhale. Spend a few minutes with this.6. As you become more relaxed, use your third eye to feel thatReiki energy beaming through your crown and filling your wholebody. Let it come to the palms of your hands and the soles ofyour feet, grounding you and preparing you to heal the past.7. Either place your palms on your hips, on either side of your rootchakra or set them at the very tops of your thighs, as close toyour root chakra as you can get (your root chakra is at the base ofyour spine).8. See the Reiki energy beaming through the layer of your skin,tissue, muscle, and bone, to your red root chakra energy. Spendtime visualizing this healing energy connecting to your root.9. Allow anything to come up that needs to. You may see flashes oflight, images of someone’s face, a past memory. You may feel alot of emotions and may be compelled to cry or feel upset. Trynot to avoid the feelings or sensations and just let them rise.10. As you begin to notice what issues are coming up, seethe Reiki energy beaming from your palms connecting to thoseideas or visuals. Allow the light energy to dissolve the issue fromthe past, or the karmic wounds that are lifting up out of your rootchakra. 11. Allow plenty of time to experience this meditativepart. You may see family in your third eye that you knew as achild or an experience you had. You may feel emotions that arenot attached to a specific image. However it manifests, let theReiki energy beam light and love through the palms of the handsand into the root chakra. 12. When you feel like there is nothing else coming upfor resolve, allow your hands to relax at your sides and breathefor several moments. 13. If your hands feel guided to another chakra afterreleasing energy from the root, allow your hands to travel to thatarea and perform the same actions as you did with the rootchakra. Let the Reiki field show you what to heal and continueuntil you are guided to stop.14. Return to your relaxed position and take severalbreaths.15. When you are ready, release the meditation and givegratitude to Reiki with a gassho.This can be an intense purging and cleansing experience.
